Open your DNS provider

Cloudflare, Route 53, Namecheap, GoDaddy — look for the DNS or Zone Editor section in your account.

iii

Add a TXT record

Host: @ · Value: the record above · TTL: 3600. Allow up to an hour to propagate, then verify with our SPF Checker.

Frequently asked

SPF (Sender Policy Framework) is a DNS TXT record that lists which servers are allowed to send email on behalf of your domain. Without it, mailbox providers like Gmail and Outlook are far more likely to mark your messages as spam — or reject them entirely. As of February 2024, Gmail requires SPF for any sender pushing more than 5,000 messages a day.
